The Christ of Christmas
In this message, we take a fresh look at the true meaning of Christmas by focusing on the Christ of Christmas. Isaiah 9:6 reminds us that Christmas is not merely a season or a story—it is the revelation of a Savior, a King, and a Redeemer.
We explore three powerful truths about Jesus Christ:
1. The Incarnation of Christ
The provision of salvation came in a cradle, as God was manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). Yet the purpose of His coming was fulfilled at the cross, where God demonstrated His love for the world (John 3:16).
2. The Inauguration of Christ
Jesus was first crowned with thorns during His suffering (John 19:5), but He is now crowned with glory and honor as our victorious Savior (Hebrews 2:9).
3. The Introduction of Christ
There is wonder, wisdom, wealth, worship, and welcome found in the name of Jesus. From salvation and peace with God to the glory due His name, Scripture reveals the unmatched greatness of Christ (Matthew 1:21–23; Romans 11:33–36; Philippians 2:9–10; Colossians 1:16; Romans 5:1).
May this message draw your heart to worship and deepen your understanding of who Jesus truly is—not just at Christmas, but every day.
